Getty beurzen naar Holloway en Mitidieri
David S. Holloway and Dario Mitidieri are the first two recipients of Getty Images' Grants for Editorial Photography. The two winners were announced Feb. 23 at Getty's New York headquarters.
Holloway will use the $20,000 grant to continue work on his project documenting white supremacists. Holloway has been documenting racial issues for years, gaining access to some of the key figures in the white power movement. Mitidieri will use the grant for an in-depth exploration of the issue of teenage pregnancy in the U.K. "I want to really understand what life is like for these young teenagers and follow them from late pregnancy into parenthood, portraying them in a realistic way, to understand what their aspirations are and what inspires them for their future."
